New Haven, CT, May 23, 2019:  The Connecticut Council of Family Services Agencies (CCFSA) honored Dr. Steven M. Coan of Stonington, CT, and Ms. Kim Quinn of Griswold, CT as true champions for CT’s children and families at their annual award ceremony, May 22, 2019 at the New Haven Lawn Club in New Haven.

Dr. Steven M. Coan received the 2019 Family Champion Award for his outstanding volunteer service to children and families as a Board Member of Catholic Charities Diocese of Norwich, Inc.

Ms. Kim Quinn received the 2019 Family Champion Award for her outstanding service to children and families as a staff member of Catholic Charities Diocese of Norwich, Inc.

Since 2006, the Celebration of Family Champions has become an opportunity for the CCFSA to recognize two individuals from each of the fifteen partner agencies, of which Catholic Charities Diocese of Norwich, Inc., is a member, who have gone above and beyond the call of duty to strengthen and support families in Connecticut.

The Connecticut Council of Family Service Agencies, Inc., is a statewide network of fifteen independent, non-profit, family service agencies that deliver services to over 150,000 families annually from more than100 sites located throughout Connecticut. Member Agencies are community-based, licensed by the State of CT and nationally accredited.
